Thank you for your interest in Variable Hosting's Free Discord Bot Hosting program. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to host your bot on our reliable infrastructure. To request free hosting, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Open a Support Ticket
To begin the process, create a new support ticket using the following template:
Title: Free Discord Bot Hosting
Category: Request
Priority: Low
Step 2: Provide the Required Information
In your support ticket message, please answer the following questions with the corresponding details:
Describe the purpose of your bot: Please provide a brief description of the functionality and purpose of your Discord bot.
What language and library is your bot made in? Specify the programming language and library/framework used to develop your bot.
What is your bot's user ID? Provide the Discord user ID of your bot. This allows us to identify and verify the correct bot.
How many servers is your bot in? Indicate the number of servers your bot is currently serving.
Have you used Pterodactyl before? Let us know if you have previous experience using the Pterodactyl control panel for managing servers.
Provide a Discord server invite link that has your bot: Share an infinite invite link to the Discord server where your bot is available for testing and usage.
Step 3: Review the Requirements
Ensure that your bot meets the following requirements before submitting your request:
Your bot should include our referral link in the "about me" section. By doing so, you will receive 25% CPU, 128MB RAM, and 512MB disk resources.
If you also list our referral link in your bot's help command and "about me" section, you will receive double the allocated resources.
Your bot must abide by Discord's guidelines and terms of service.
Your bot should not be a clone or unmodified version of another bot.
Your bot should not promote or contain LGBTQ content.
Your bot must not be intended for scamming or advertising purposes.
Variable Hosting reserves the right to deny any bot without providing a reason.
Please note that we periodically check if your bot is still including our credits. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or deletion of your server.
Step 4: Submit Your Support Ticket
Once you have filled out the necessary information and ensured your bot meets the requirements, submit the support ticket. Our team will review your request and respond to you as soon as possible.
We are excited to have the opportunity to host your Discord bot and look forward to supporting your hosting needs. If you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
